Two different challenges

I have two different challenges for you today. The first is for the man/boy in your life. It is a Dude Time Doodle challenge, using their freebie. Freaky cool image. You'll have to go check out their blog and what the challenge is all about...can ya say "guest DT". The sentiment is from Ginger's house.
And the second challenge is a girly one. The challenge is at A Day for Daisies, using the freebie on the challenge_girly girl. Very sweet image. Again, you have to go check out their blog and grab the cute image.

So as you can see, two totally different cards. I had fun with both images. Hope you enjoy.

Valentine's Card, OWH Bloghop-November 2010

Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm fairly new to making cards, about a year now. And very new to blogging. But I am very excited about both. You'll find more information on an AWESOME group I'm making cards for. It's called Operation Write Home, OWH for short.  They collect mine and many, many other talented card maker's cards and send those to our troops for their personal use to send home. It's give's me a warm and fuzzy feeling thinking I might have made someone smile with one of my cards. :) Below is my Valentine's Card I made for the OWH Bloghop. The heart pattern is in the CardMaker Magazine, March 2010 issue. I have been very busy making more Valentine's cards since this one. Two new challenges

Hi everyone, Sorry I have been MIA lately. Some of you may know this, others not. My Dad was in the late stages of cancer and I have been spending as much time as I could with him. So no card making or blogging. Sadly he lost his battle last Thursday.  He will be missed terribly by many people. Yesterday I squeezed in some time to make two cards. The first is for Hambo . I didn't play last week so I didn't get that awesome caterpillar image so I'm using another of their's. Still awesome. The challenge is to use Bright Green and Pink. I think those are cool color combination, so I had a lot of fun with this challenge. The second is for D2D progressive challenge, Spotty Dotty Watering can. I love this image. I think I'm drawn to flowers, I just love coloring and creating with them. The sentiment is also a D2D one. If you haven't ever played in one of D2D challenges, I say go for it, NOW!
