Image
Here you go Yolanda , two for one. Happy Birthday. Both are based on OWH sketch 8. All papers by Paper Studio. The sentiment was printed on my computer.

New facebook page

Hey all, I have 4 new cards done and one other almost. I have a "helper" now, my little girl cat. She loves to lay on my desk, in my ribbon, on my computer, you name it, where ever I am working you can be sure she is there! And this is the one that was stuck up in the tree a couple days ago. I will post the cards I made later. But I did want to let you all know of my new facebook page. It is one I'm going to use with my daughter, who is an awesome Artist. NO I'm not just saying that, she really is. My older sister is also going to feature her needlework on the page. She is wonderful and fast at crocheting. Wait til you see her work.  I have put on some cards I would like to sell. The facebook name is Creative Designs by the Girls . We will be opening in an Etsy store soon. Stay tune.  Have a good night all.

Missing you

Image
The Challenge at OWH this week is Winter themed card.  I did a penguin missing you card. I believe the digi is Yolanda's . Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I want to give credit where credit is due. I colored them with Copic markers and colored pencils.  I got the idea to fold the corners down from my Memory Makers Scrapbook Borders, Corners & Titles book. The missing you sentiment is generated from my computer. All papers from The Paper Studio. Enjoy;

Almost Turkey day

Here's a little card I did in participating in a challenge cdaccc10, tlc, at Crafter's Digital Art Center .

Hello

Image
Are you tired of looking at my cards yet? Hope not, I love sharing. Give me feedback on how to improve. I want to start selling them by next summer, so HELP me please! One more card today and I promise now more. I made this one a while ago and Roy, my fiancee took it to his work. I'll see when he gets home if he gave it away or sold it. He works from home a month at a time. Please go to Karen's blog to see what she is up to.She's a  very talented lady.  She has some yummy blog candy for you.

Rufus aka Fritz!

Image
I had to show these to you. Isn't Rufus (I mean Fritz) just the cutest puppy you've ever seen? I think so. Both cards can be used for either male or female. There I go again with my olive green card stock. I'm not really a "green" lover, but I must say Olive green is growing on me! The last week or so I must have used it on 4-5 cards! Hope everyone else likes it. The stamp is a set by K. Joy , called Let your Heart Catch Up. Sorry Katlyn, I don't know where I got "Rufus" from! I went back to your store and saw Rufus is really Fritz. A big 'ol THANKS to Katlyn! :)

Let it SNOW

Image
Who wants some snow?  I do, IF and thats a big IF, I can stay home, not drive in it, and just enjoy its beauty. Then it can go away the next day! LOL  As if... Anyhow enjoy my snow family; Let It snow, let it snow... I got this snow family stamp from Stevens, on clearance! Yay.  Some of it is colored with copic, some with color pencils. It does have snow glitter and blue snowflakes (those from H/B). Check out the Challange I'm submitting it to.

Working hard

Image
I've been busy making cards today. I looked at my Joy of Card Making: Collector's Edition book last night and got some good ideas. I'll share a few with you. Red card is using black dippydots ribbon by Offray Ribbon and red brads. The stamp is from Stampabilities. Brown card is using old paper I had by Colorbok- Scrap Pack. The cute caterpillar is from my Circut, Walk in my Garden cartridge. I also used 2 yellow brads on the tags and 2 tiny black brads for the caterpillar eyes.

K. Joy challenge

Image
I know I'm late, but the digi of Kolar was so cute I still had to make a card. So I'll post my card here and link back to Katlyn . Thanks for the cute digi Katlyn. I did use the "at least 3 brads" request, two for his eyes and one on the heart. I also add some bling and ribbon. The glue is still drying on the bling. I just got the card completed 3 minutes ago. :)  Enjoy

1. Digi from Melissa Jenkins, see link below 2.Copic markers 3. All papers and cardstock from Hobby Lobby (I'm there so much they almost know my name) 4. Inside-partly from my computer, some from Imagination Project stickers By now some of you, if not all, might know I am a feline fanatic! And proud of it! LOL I made this cute little card just because. The digi stamp was a freebie from Meljen . I'll have to give it to another cat lover if I don't send it on to OWH . Dog lovers would not appreciate it! haha Thanks for any and all comments. Have a great day, make lots of cards! Shirley

My Angels

Morning everyone, OWH blog hoppers-I had a blast during the hop, got lots of ideas and can't wait to start on them. Thanks Ladies and Gents. But first I went to D2D website and found their challenge. So I purchased this sweet Angel, named Kaela and had to make one, (but so far I have 2 completed and 2 more started) for the challenge but also and more importantly to give to my friend for Christmas. She collects Angels. Please got to D2D website to check out the Angel digi stamp .  Hope you all enjoy the two I have made so far. First picture is of both cards, then I did a close up of each. 1. Digi stamp from D2D 2. All papers bought at Hobby Lobby 3. Colored with Copic markers, Prismacolor markers and colored Pencils (I'm working on getting my inventory up on the Copic) 4. Sentiment-printed on my computer 5. Used glitter as this is for personal use Thanks for all comments, Shirley
