Christmas mini album

Good Morning,
I worked on this album all day yesterday and a couple hours this morning. I'm going to send it to my 20 y/o daughter. I'm sure she will appreciate the time and effort that was put into it as she is an artist herself.  I got the idea from Beccysplace...check it out. She has some awesome tutorials on her blog, not to mention some great digi images.  Okay bare with me, I'm going to upload all the pictures10 in all...cause I just want to share!  Images are from various artist (I'll try to list them at the end of this blog). Okay, here goes...
Well I have them loaded, but it's a long post. Sorry, I tried to get the pic closer, but to no avail.

OWH challenge

I had so much fun with these digi images. This is for OWH challenge posted on December 15, 2010.  You can get these awesome images here. They are perfect for any man in your life or charities you make cards for. It isn't always easy to find the right image for him, but I think you'll be happy with what you find at Bonibleaux Designs.
My Dad was in the Army for 20 years. Though he wasn't a General he was strict at home. I can just see him gritting his teeth and telling us kids "your other left"..only he might have added "you moron".  Anyhow, I had much fun with this image. I so love olive green.
He is colored with Copics and Primsacolor markers. Not much do-dads on it, as it could be sent to a man. Just a star on the general's hat and some square brads in the corners.
Now this guy was a lot of fun also. He also is colored with Copics and Primsacolor markers. Just two buttons for the "bling". I printed out the Honey-Do list on my computer along with the scrolling list under the image.
Wonder where I can find this guy to do my chores! LOL

289-Peek a boo

This is for the 365 current challenge. It is supposed to be make a card with two peek a boo windows....simple, huh? It wasn't for me, I must say it WAS a big challenge for me. I thought I would have fun with it, but I got stressed over it. I'm not real happy with the outcome but what can I say....it's done.

Challenge 288 at 365 Cards.

Well here is another challenge for you, use 3 different fonts on your card. I found this challenge here. The image is from here, and colored with my Copics.  I have a blue decorative circle behind the image using my Paper Studio punch. The font issing is from my computer, the M is a sticker and the U is a foam sticker.

Couple other cards finished

I thought I would share a few other images I got from Arthur's clipart. Both are colored with my Copics (must ask Santa for more!)  I couldn't decide if I should add anything to the cowboy, so I didn't.

OWH sketch 47

This is this weeks sketch challenge at OWH and this is the card I made using the sketch.  The image is from here. I just found tons of clip art I liked. I colored it with Copics and Zig markers. I put a dab of the Glossy accent on the birds eye, added some buttons and ribbon and voila...done. Now that the card is done it kinda looks like an Easter card. hmmm, guess I will have to make more of it and use Easter greetings.
well, enjoy

Day 287 sketch

At 365card they are on day 287 and their challenge today is a sketch. This is my version of it. I have had the mittens colored and ready to go for a while, but wasn't sure how I wanted to use them. Well, I think it is a simple but cute card. I lined the inside with a pale lavender as my purple lines on the front bled threw. A happy accident. But that's okay, it looks good that way.

As a side note...we are getting snow. I'd say about 2 inches so far, it's wet but light. Looks beautiful and three of my cats are outside in it...one is LOVING it! :) go figure!
