I have to have my coffee before I can start my day. Or so I think!
I made this card with a wonderful D2D digital stamp. I scrunched it down a bit and did my very first paper piecing. Piece of cake as the image is clean and fairly simple. I then colored the rest with markers. The corner punch is from Fiskars, Romantique. The cute little button flower is from Sassafras. And the dp is from The Paper Studio.  Let me know what your thought are on the paper piecing and if I need to do anything different to make it better. Thanks

The challenges I entered this card in are;
Stampin B's- Challenge 87-turquoise and purple, plus something shiny
One Stop Craft-Week 109-coffee or tea
Craft your passion-Challenge 35-anything goes
Scrap-creations1- Going grey-anything goes.

Happy crafting,
Shirley G

  3. Love the colours - they're so pretty.You've done a great job on the paper piecing.It's a lovely way to tie in the colours from the background.
    Another way is to gently shape the paper with your fingers and use silicone glue to give it height.So for example if you did it with this image you'd use larger blobs in the middle and smaller ones on the outer edges to give it a curve.There is nothing wrong with yours tho' -this is just an idea.Thanks for joining us at Craft Your Passion :D
