You know you can make friends anywhere and from out of the blue.  I was having a hard time figuring out how do paste a picture from a website to my blog and Yolanda, a co-OWH crafter helped me. Thank you Yolanda, you're the best! :-)  I haven't made a card in a day and half and I'm itching to get started. So with that said, here I go! I'll post a picture of the first one made later. Have a fun day everyone.

The deadline for Christmas cards has past. Now we can have fun with the LOVE cards...i.e. Valentines cards. So if you want to make cards for OWH or have your children make cards go to www.operationwritehome.org and look at their mail room link to find the mailer/shipper closest to you to mail your cards to. You and your children can also write letters to our soldiers. This is called Hero mail...and the mailer/shippers can add these to their boxes sent to our servicemen and women. Thanks for your support on this much worthy cause.                  

Spooky Hellllooo,   It's Halloween and what am I doing? Scary the neighborhood kids?...hmm Nope.  Going to a scary hayride?...nope again. :) I'm making Christmas cards. It's like I fast forwarded my days! At my age, NOT a good thing to do! LOL But I am enjoying this. I hope you all had a good day, lots of fun and enjoyed whatever it was you did today.

Hi All,  Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days, been feeling under the weather. But I absolutely have to get my Christmas cards made, and soon! We have a beautiful sunny, but chilly day today. So I think today I will tackle some of those cards.

Hey Everyone, We are having a beautiful day today. Can't winter stay just like this??? Went to the local DQ for my favorite breakfast, a bacon sandwich on butter toast! mmm mmm I know, so not good for me! I then took my cards to the VA today, they were appreciative of them. I was happy to make them for our Vets. Then on to see my Dad. Sadly he slept the whole time I was there. I stayed a couple hours then had to leave. Hopefully I can get out there in a couple days to see him again. This time I'll call first. :) Now I'm coloring my stamps I have ready for the Christmas cards. I do love to color, never have outgrown that fun!

Morning All, Well we had a good, if not brief, storm pass thru this morning. Not enough rain though. My daughter informed me yesterday that she and her boyfriend may be moving to Kotzebue, Alaska. YIKES, that is far, far, far away! I did research online today, and the temp up there is a cool 14*. Groceries prices are sky high! If they go it will certainly be an expercience they won't forget any time soon! :-) kotzdweb.tripod.com I must stop worrying about that and get to work on my cards. LOL, always a Mother! Good Morning all, My male cats, Homer and Howard, woke me up early, again, this morning. Homer was hungry, so I fed him and went back to bed. But no way was Howard gonna let me sleep in. He will jump from one night stand to me to the other night stand. I think I get the brunt of those jumps. I finally gave in and got up. He just wanted to go outside, so out he went. Now, I'm drinking coffee trying to wake up. I must finish the cards I want to take to the VA today. I should go see my Dad, but we'll see how the time plays out. This afternoon I have to go to the place I got hired on as Seasonal, for about 15 minutes!
