Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm fairly new to making cards, about a year now. And very new to blogging. But I am very excited about both. You'll find more information on an AWESOME group I'm making cards for. It's called Operation Write Home, OWH for short. They collect mine and many, many other talented card maker's cards and send those to our troops for their personal use to send home. She has some awesome cards and ideas, go check out her blog and perhaps become a follower. :) Happy Crafting, Shirley G
I have three challenges for you today, all so different and all so much fun to do. Lets start with MelJen ...the challenge #54 is to use 3 colors (check), 2 different dp (check) and a ribbon (check). I just love this little image. I sparkled him up a bit with some stickles and glossy accent on his heart. The next challenge is for Scrap-Creations:Going Grey . They have a sketch to follow. Pretty neat sketch, I'm sure I will be using it a lot. And lastly Dude Time Doodles has another freebie (Jethro Jug) and challenge. What a hoot is this image. If you haven't grabbed it yet, ya better before it's gone. I did a google search for "hillbilly" sayings. Fun! hmm I might be a hillbilly! :) In case you don't speak "hillbilly" ... "yont-tu= You want to "shindig"= party "spell"= for awhile Oh my...yep I'm a hillbilly! Hope you enjoy all the cards. Go check out the challenges while they are still going. Happy Crafti...
