Hi, I'm Shirley. I'm fairly new to making cards, about a year now. And very new to blogging. But I am very excited about both. You'll find more information on an AWESOME group I'm making cards for. It's called Operation Write Home, OWH for short. They collect mine and many, many other talented card maker's cards and send those to our troops for their personal use to send home. It's give's me a warm and fuzzy feeling thinking I might have made someone smile with one of my cards. :) Below is my Valentine's Card I made for the OWH Bloghop. I have two cards, actually, for this sketch. I had so much fun making the first that I made my next card using the same sketch. I had so much fun with these digi images. This is for OWH challenge posted on December 15, 2010. You can get these awesome images here . They are perfect for any man in your life or charities you make cards for. It isn't always easy to find the right image for him, but I think you'll be happy with what you find at Bonibleaux Designs. My Dad was in the Army for 20 years. Though he wasn't a General he was strict at home. I can just see him gritting his teeth and telling us kids "your other left"..only he might have added "you moron". Anyhow, I had much fun with this image. I so love olive green. He is colored with Copics and Primsacolor markers. Not much do-dads on it, as it could be sent to a man. Just a star on the general's hat and some square brads in the corners.
